Studio Hours for Kids at ArtJamz
Keeping kids busy in the summertime can be a hassle; staying out of the heat can be even more so. The ArtJamz Dupont Studio is the perfect place for parents to bring their kids to exercise their creativity. The studio holds open walk-in hours every Tuesday-Sunday from Noon to 5PM.
For $10 per hour + canvas ArtJammers get an easel and unlimited access to water-based acrylic paints, brushes and tons of art materials such as markers, drafting tape, construction paper, glitter, glue, stencils, pastels, watercolors, pencils and crayons. Family friendly music, Honest Tea, and tips, guidance and encouragement from the ArtJamz staff of arttrained Creative Enablers are also included.
Canvas come separately and can be purchased on site in a range of sizes and prices: $12 (16×20), $17 (20×24) and $20 (22 x28). Used canvas are also available and come with a $5 discount. ArtJammers who wish to paint longer than 1-hour can pay $5 for each additional 30- minutes of studio time. Kids ages 5-18 are welcome. Reservations are not necessary.
